Reminiscent of a Tudor-styled home, Hampton Inn and Suites offers visitors a soothing, relaxing, and restful atmosphere from the lobby, hallways, and rooms.

Mark Shook, Vice President of Operations for Newcrest Management, introduced several guest speakers, including Mehal Patel, Lead Principal for Newcrest Management.

Patel thanked everyone for coming out and acknowledged Corsicana National Bank’s Rusty Hitt and Greg Olson for helping to make it possible for Hampton Inn and Suites to be a part of the Corsicana community.

“We’re excited to be here,” Patel said. “This is a good turnout of people. Everyone has been gracious in welcoming us to the community, and we are just glad to be here in Corsicana.”

The hotel is managed by Newcrest Management LLC, which has five operating hotels and eight more in development, with over 12 years of experience in operating all types of lodging.

In 1994 they acquired their first property, a 16-room motel in Oklahoma, and in 2003 the company initiated an aggressive strategy transforming its hotel portfolio to 100 percent new builds.

“We have acquired Intercontinental hotels group and Hilton hotels franchises in these ongoing efforts as the company upgrades its assets,” said Shook.

Shook also introduced another company associate, Sheila Wright, along with Corsicana Chamber Executive Director Paul Hooper, Corsicana Mayor C.L. “Buster” Brown, and associate Marianne Chartrand.

Introductions were also made for additional members of the Newcrest Management group.

Shook told guests he would try to keep the speeches short so everyone would have time to tour the facility.

Hampton Inn and Suites offers all the amenities of home and more including single, double, and king size suites, with most rooms offering living areas and Jacuzzi tubs.
