National Delegates Elected From Navarro County |

Navarro County will be well represented at the 2008 Republican National Convention, which will be help in September in Minneapolis – St. Paul, Minnesota. Steve Jessup of Corsicana was elected to be a national delegate during the party’s state convention held last week at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. Jessup was one of the two dozen delegates and alternates from Navarro County who attended the convention. He was elected as Delegate #2 from the Congressional District #6 caucus, which is made up of delegates from Tarrant, Ellis, Navarro, Freestone, Houston, Leon, and Liberty Counties. Jessup pledged to give a full report of what will surely be a memorable trip to each county or other groups who invite him to speak. Steve Jessup is the first delegate to the national convention ever to be elected from Navarro County.
