Ms. Osburn said she could remember her students bringing in a huge tumbleweed to class and the kids saying that it was going to be their Christmas tree. Needless to say it didn't make that year’s cut. It was tossed out with the other tumbleweeds to roll on out of town. Jennifer Kinder is a hometown girl from Kerens, Texas. She has a very sweet disposition and seems to enjoy being in CISD. The staff will be going to Drane Intermediate School to teach the beginnings of band and to Collins Middle school to teach the rookies and the students that have been in band awhile. The new staff and director are eager to get to work with all the kids this year. It won’t be long before their first game and performance in West Mesquite, which is an away game. It should truly be a show that the opposing team and Corsicana fans will really enjoy. |
