The Single Believers Ministries, along with Ray Jacobs (Adult Probation Officer) and his crew, and help from Mayor Pro Tem Ruby Williams of Pct. 2 and the Community Service Workers are trimming the trees and bushes around the Dr. William Coleman home. Dr. Will Coleman was the first Black licensed veterinarian in the State of Texas and the home is a historical landmark.

Our goal is to restore and beautify the home. We are trying to locate family members of Dr. Will Coleman; if anyone has information concerning the family’s whereabouts, please call (903) 874-2921 or e-mail us at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
