March 17, 1917 – July 21, 2008 Mr. Benjamin Franklin Freeman, Jr., 91, of Dallas passed away on Monday, July 21, 2008 in Dallas. He was born on March 7, 1917 in Barry, Texas. He retired from the City of Dallas having worked as a Health Inspector, and later worked as a builder for many years in Dallas. Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Corley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at the Corley Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Gary W. Johnson officiating, Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Family & Friends. Mr. Freeman was preceded in death by his Wife; Virginia Harvard Freeman, Daughter; Benji Freeman, and Brothers; Elma & Guy Freeman. He is survived by his Daughters & Sons-in-Law; Vickie & Tom Black of Dallas, TX, Nancy & Nathan Archer of Red Oak, TX., Granddaughters; Lauren & Katherine Black of Dallas, TX., Grandson & Wife; James Benjamin & Sara Graham of Frisco, TX., Great Granddaughters; Kate & Claire Graham of Frisco, TX, Sister; Evalyn Peterson of Houston, TX., and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
