January 2, 1925 – July 24, 2008 Mr. Jimmie Barlow, Sr., 83, of Corsicana passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2008 in Corsicana. He was born on January 2, 1925 in Corsicana, Texas. He was a blacksmith and welder for many years. He was a veteran having served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Visitation will be held from 6-9:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Corley Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2008 at Oakwood Cemetery with Bro. Bill Honea officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Nick Barlow, Leslie Barlow, Taylor Barlow, Tom Gafford, DeWayne Gafford, and Ray Ham. Mr. Barlow was preceded in death by his Parents; Tom & Arie Barlow, Sister; Ann Bennett, Brothers; Johnny, Charlie, & Leslie Wade Barlow, and Nieces; Kathy Bennett & Sue Ellen Barlow. He is survived by his Wife of 55 years; JoNell Barlow of Corsicana, TX., Daughter; Cynthia Lee of Nichols, GA., Sons & Daughter-in-Law; Jimmie Barlow of Fort Worth, TX. & John & Aronda Barlow of Corsicana, TX., Grandsons & Wives; Stephen & Bonnie Aston of Nichols, GA., Dannie Aston of Nichols, GA., Leslie & Crystal Barlow, Nicholas Barlow and Taylor Barlow all of Corsicana, TX., Great Grandchildren; Stephen, Heather, Desiree & Johnny Aston all of Nichols, GA., and Paxton Barlow of Corsicana, TX., Sister & Brother-in-Law; Georgia & Bill Gafford of Matagorda, TX. and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
