July 6, 1922 – July 26, 2008 Mrs. Ruby P. Thomas, 86, of Corsicana passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2008 in Corsicana. She was born on July 6, 1922 in Corsicana to Thomas G. and Clara P. Patrick. Ruby was a loving wife and mother. She was employed with Adam Hat Factory and worked for Collin Street Bakery for a number of years. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 28, 2008 at Corley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at the Corley Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Rick Lamb officiating. Interment will follow in the Younger Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wayne Brown, Darrell Patrick, Don Slaughter, Bobby Thomas, Jackie Thomas, and Ronnie Thomas. Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her Husband; Irba L. Thomas, her Parents, Two Brothers and Three Sisters. She is survived by her Sons & Daughters-in-Law; Ken & Ann Thomas of Corsicana, TX. and Van & Sandra Thomas of Navarro, TX., Four Grandchildren; Jimmy Thomas and Wife Beth of Waxahachie, TX, Cathy Meneley of San Antonio, TX, Melissa Fitzgerald and Husband Kelly of Taylor, TX, Dewayne Thomas and Wife Sue of Pearland, TX, Nine Great Grandchildren; Jason Meneley and Wife Laetitia of Houston, Jessica Ballard and Husband Brandon of Dallas, Joshua Meneley and Fiance Michelle of Hawaii, Jarrod Thomas of Waxahachie, Janna Meneley of San Antonio, Anna Worley of Navarro, Wyatt Fitzgerald of Taylor, Justin Thomas of Pearland, and Amber Thomas of Pearland, One Sister; Nellie Brown of Corsicana, One Sister-in-Law; Gelene Thomas of Corsicana, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
