Irma Lee Jones, 88, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2008 in Corsicana, Texas.  She was born on May 18, 1920 in Corsicana to Whit and Erma King.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by two husbands- John Edward Harper and Thomas Edward Jones, her parents and a sister - Aline King.  
She is survived by one son - Johnny Harper and wife Virginia of Corsicana; brother - Sonny King of Corsicana; 2 sisters - Louise Hunter of Corsicana and Sarah Harmon of Centerville, Louisiana; Grandson - John Harper and his wife Debbie of Plano and Granddaughter - Jennifer Powell and her husband Wayne of Powell; Great-grandchildren - Kaley, Claire, Zachary, Alexandra and Amanda and a number of nieces and nephews.
Service is scheduled for Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 10:00 a.m., at the Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Rick Lamb officiating.  Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Raylon Lewis, Larry Hunter, Danny Richards, L.D. Richards, John Harper and Wayne Powell.  Visitation will be Wednesday, August 6, 2008 from 6-8 p.m., at the Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.
