Mr. Alvin T. Stanley, 51, of Kemp passed away on Friday, August 1, 2008 in Barry, Texas. He was born on September 13, 1956 in Corsicana, Texas.

He worked as a safety supervisor with the Stevens Transport Company. He was a veteran having served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at the Dallas Fort Worth Ntional Cemetery with Chaplain Russell E. Bracy officiating.

He was preceded in death by his father; James Samuel Stanley and his mother; Norma Jewel Johnson.

He is survived by his Daughter; Britney Stanley of Dallas, Brothers & Sister-in-Law; David & Tamela Stanley of Mabank and James Allen Stanley of Corsicana, Sister & Brother-in-Law; Polly & Frank Wear of Corsicana, Step-Sisters & Husbands; Kathy & Gene Pate of Gun Barrel City, Jinnine & Sonny Cathy of Waco, and Holline & Robert Willett of Lufkin, Step-Brother; Hollis Dale Johnson of Marlin, Step-Father; Hollis A. Johnson of Kemp, Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and special friends; Dari Leclair, Ty Clark, Morgan Leclair, and Chris Ott all of Barry.
