February 23, 1935 – August 6, 2008 On Wednesday, August 6, 2008, Robert C. “Bob” Bush passed away at Navarro Regional Hospital. He was 73. Mr. Bush was born on February 23, 1935 in Waco and was an English professor at Trinity Valley Community College in Athens for 32 years. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday at Paschal Funeral Home. Services will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 10 a.m. at the Kerens First United Methodist Church, with Jerry Phillips officiating and Rev. Buddy Moore assisting. Burial will follow at Kerens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Bush, Kenneth Johnston, Wade Johnston, Jerry Phillips, Bill Monds and Jason Schafer. Mr. Bush is survived by his wife, Helen Bush of Corsicana; son, Robert C. Bush, Jr. of Corsicana; daughter Helen Kay Mousner of Navarsota; grandson, Charles W. Bush of Corsicana; grand-daughter, Caroline Mousner of Navasota; brother, Jack Bush of San Antonio and sister-in-law, Mary Bush of Denton.
